The Medical Devices and Diagnostics Regulation Technical Committee (MDRTC) has been established by the Director General of TMDA to provide specialist advice on matters related to:

1. Market authorization of medical devices and diagnostics;
2. Vigilance, post-marketing surveillance including reporting adverse events associated with the use of these products; and
3. Any matter related to medical devices and Invitro diagnostics regulation in Tanzania.

The Medical Devices and Diagnostics Technical Committee meets four times per year i.e. once every quarter. The current members of MDRTC are listed in the table below:
