According to section 105 of the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Act, Cap. 219, all drug inspectors who enforce medicines regulations have to be appointed by the authority and published in the gazette. Under the same act, these inspectors have been given power to enter any premises at any time provided that there is information of contravention of the act in the respective premises.
