According to Section 55 (b) of the Tanzania Food, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Cap 219, all registered food, medicines, cosmetics, medical devices and diagnostics are required to be maintained in the register of registered food, medicines, cosmetics, medical devices and diagnostics by paying Annual Retention Fees.
