PAYMENT PROCEDURES FOR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

  1. Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) would like to remind its stakeholders and general public that, all payments against the services rendered to its customers are made into the Authority's accounts using the Government's electronic Payment Gateway (GePG).
  2. Before making any payment, TMDA customers ought to receive the special payment identification number (Control Number) indicated on a Proforma Invoice issued by the Authority as per the current TMDA’s Fees and Charges Regulations, 2021.
  3. The TMDA’s external customers who pay for services from abroad, are obliged to dully fill the relevant payment form (swift form), especially item/section No. 70 by ensuring that no any other information is entered in this section except the payment identification number (control number). However, the payer should select “OUR” in the charge mode section 71A.
  4. Any payment made without a Control Number will not be reflected in any invoice hence, failure or delays in service delivery. It should further be noted that, payments of more than one control number(s) cannot be combined. Additionally, care should be taken by customers before making payments, because any deposited money in the Authority’s account cannot be refunded.
  5. TMDA customers are urged to comply with the government payment procedure to avoid unnecessary inconveniences.
