NOTICE TO ALL MEDICAL DEVICES AND DIAGNOSTICS DEALERS ON THE DEACTIVATION OF MULTIPLE TRADER ACCOUNTS AND THE USE OF A SINGLE ACCOUNT IN THE ONLINE PORTAL

1. TMDA would like to notify its esteemed customers that, we are currently updating traders’ accounts which are to be synchronised with each trader’s registered products in our system via imis2.tmda.go.tz/portal
2. We have noted that, some of our customers own several accounts in the system which leads into difficulties in sorting one’s own products while applying for permits. This situation has forced applicants to opt for special permit requests which in turn causes unnecessarily delay in permit processing.
3. In view of the above, TMDA would like to call upon all medical devices and diagnostics dealers to declare only one active account to be used for all permits applications. You can send information on your selected account via email: medicaldevices@tmda.go.tz latest by 30th June, 2022.
4. Furthermore, TMDA would like to remind all medical devices and diagnostics dealers to register their products prior to importation for the sake of ensuring quality, safety and performance.
