INVITATION TO STAKEHOLDERS MEEETING FOR A SENSITIZATION ON THE INTEGRATION OF TANZANIA CUSTOMS INTEGRATED SYSTEM (TANCIS) AND REGULATORY INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RIMS) FOR MEDICAL PRODUCTS

1. The Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA), in collaboration with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), wishes to invite all esteemed stakeholders to a crucial sensitization meeting regarding the newly introduced integration of the TANCIS and RIMS systems.
2. This meeting follows the government initiative to streamline the importation of medicines, medical devices and diagnostics through a centralized digital platform (single window) to enhance efficiency, transparency and the ease of doing business.
3. Target Audience: Medical products Importers (Medicines, Medical Devices and Diagnostics), Clearing and Forwarding Agencies, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers and other TANCIS Users.
4. Proposed Agenda Items:
   1. Welcome Remarks and Official Opening;
   2. Overview of the TANCIS-RIMS Integration;
   3. Technical Requirements: Ensuring Compliance and Data Integrity;
   4. Implementation Roadmap: Transition Guidelines/Period;
   5. Interactive Plenary; and
   6. Summary of Action Items and Closing Remarks.
