Mr. Proches Patrick is a Pharmacist and PhD Student at Purdue University, USA. He holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Science from Purdue University, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Management from the College of Business Education, Tanzania, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Pharmacy Advanced GMP Training from Purdue/Howard Universities (USA)/Kilimanjaro School of Pharmacy, Tanzania.

He has about two decades of experience in pharmaceutical and medical devices regulation and the supply chain of health commodities for both human and veterinary use. Mr. Proches is a Lead GMP Inspector and has worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) on specific inspection assignments. He also supported GMP inspectors from Rwanda and Botswana by providing hands-on training and capacity building. He has extensive experience of working with the Local Government Authorities in Tanzania and he has been fostering cooperation to achieve excellence.
