INVITATION OF STAKEHOLDERS TO ATTEND A MEETING TO DISCUSS MATTERS RELATED TO MEDICAL DEVICES AND DIAGNOSTICS CONTROL

1. The Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) would like to invite stakeholders to attend a meeting to discuss matters related to Medical Devices and in-vitro diagnostic devices (IVDDs) Controls.
2. The meeting would provide an opportunity for discussion of matters that impact the control of Medical Devices and IVDDs in Tanzania.
3. T3. Proposed agenda items
   1. i. Comprehensive discussion of the control of promotional materials and advertisements of Medical Devices and IVDDs.
   2. ii. Publication of summary of the technical evaluation reports (public assessment reports) for registered medical devices and IVDDs.
   3. iii. Navigating Medical devices and IVDDs application submission and receiving
   4. iv. Orientation on TANCIS for the revised importation procedures for medical devices and in vitro diagnostics.
   5. v. Open forum for any clarification on any medical devices or IVDDs controls related issues.
