TMDA APPROVES ITS REVISED STRATEGIC PLAN FOR 2020/21 - 2021/22

TMDA has reviewed its five years Strategic Plan (SP) of 2017/18-2021/22 and adjusted its plans for the next two years. The revised edition of SP highlights the gaps and challenges encountered during its implementation in the first two (2) years, 2017/18 and 2018/19. The new SP incorporates an improved Mission statement of TMDA, strategic objectives, targets, milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve the goals for the coming two years, 2020/21 - 2021/22.

The situational analysis of the previous edition, roles and responsibilities as articulated in the organizational structure and the actual plan have also been delineated in the new SP. The SP will be monitored through the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework which has also been summarized in the Plan. As the SP is an internal document, TMDA staff are urged to familiarize themselves and ensure accountability in successful implementation of planned strategic objectives including realizing the milestones set.
